Grady Gaston: Grady Gaston, a software engineer and entrepreneur from Huntsville, Alabama, has spent more than thirty years contributing to software development, cybersecurity, and digital technology. He is well known for his pioneering work in digital signature solutions and for building secure enterprise systems that have supported both government and private organizations. His journey into computing began while he was in college, working as a courier, where he took the opportunity to learn programming from operators during his free time. That early interest quickly developed into a programming position. By his junior year, he became the youngest software analyst at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where his skills were quickly recognized. He earned a B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and later completed an M.S. in Software Engineering from the Southeastern Institute of Technology. He also became a Certified Data Processor through the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals. His work earned him a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002, followed by leadership service as President of the UAH Alumni Association in 2006.
